La serie de trabajos que compone este libro tiene su origen en un conjunto de revistas sobre campos nudistas que el Dr. Lakra compro en el mercado de los domingos de la calle Brick Lane, en Londres. Nos comenta al respecto: "compre las revistas en el mercado de los domingos de Brick Lane de un jalon, eran alrededor de veinte revistas que me costaron cinco libras, o algo asi, exageradamente barato. Ese dia llovia y estaban todas mojadas".

Las figuras que dibuja el Dr. Lakra en las revistas estan hechas con tinta china y luego las raspa con unas agujas que se usan para tatuar. Algunos de los tatuajes los confecciona con la misma tinta pero muy diluida, y otros, con lapiz. Tambien usa pintura vinilica y gouache blanco.
