VAN EYCK, ALDO
Aldo van Eyck belongs to a select group of Dutch architects who have given an equal place to both their writing as to their designs. This publication consists of two volumes. The first, entitled ´The child, The City and the Artist´ was written as a result the course that van Eyck gave at the University of Pennsylvania in 1960. These writings appear here for the first time. The second volume brings together van Eycks writings from 1947-1998 and cover a broad range of different subjects and include polemical writings on postmodernism and observations on various architects and artists.
